Fire Department Wall Clocks – When you have decided the specific position to insert the screw to the wall, using a hand drill and a very small drill bit, drill a tiny hole into the wall making sure you drill through the stud. Next, after you drilled your tiny hole to the wall, then insert your large wood screw. Be sure to twist the screw in just far enough so that the mind of the screw sticks out from the wall enough to support the clock.
On the flip side, there are some instances where the stud behind the wall isn’t found in a position in which you would like to hang out your timepiece. In this situation, the solution to this is using what’s known as a screw thread.
These screw anchors are available in metal and plastic. There are styles of screw anchors available for a number of wall hanging jobs. These screw anchors come in various shapes and sizes.
